Usage

Template:ISO 639 name en is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.

{{Lang|en| some text in 英語}} wraps the text with <span lang="en"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code en to include articles in Category:Articles containing 英語-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |英語 |en}}). Also available is {{Lang-en |some text in 英語}} which displays as 英语：some text in 英語.
{{Link language|en}}, {{en icon}} displays the language of an external link. These templates could add articles to Category:Articles with 英語-language external links (may be created using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=en |name=英語}}).
{{R from other language|en|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from 英語-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
{{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|en}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to 英語-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
